The argument in the park turned into a gunfight! A deadly conversation among friends.

A discussion among a group of 4 friends sitting in a park in Pamukkale district of Denizli turned into an armed fight. Osman Petem, who was shot in the chest, lost his life.

ARGUMENT AROSE WHILE CHATTING

Yesterday, Osman Petem and his friends H.G. (27), R.G. (29), and H.K. were sitting in the park in Dokuzkavaklar neighborhood and started chatting. After a while, an argument broke out between Petem and H.K. for reasons yet to be determined.

SHOT HIS FRIEND IN THE CHEST

As the argument turned into a fight, H.K. shot Osman Petem in the chest with a gun he had with him. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of the people around.

DOCTORS' EFFORTS WERE NOT ENOUGH

Petem, who received the initial intervention of the health team, was taken to Denizli State Hospital by ambulance. Despite the efforts of the doctors, Petem could not be saved. The police, who initiated an investigation into the incident, detained H.K., as well as H.G. and R.G. who were with him.
