WORE A CHADOR AND DISGUISED AS A WOMAN
The incident occurred the other day on Süleyman Vahit Street in the Anatolia neighborhood of the central Yüreğir district. The suspect pulled out a pistol he had brought and fired successive shots at the workplace. Following the incident, the attacker ran away and disappeared.
ROBBERY BUREAU DETECTIVES UNCOVERED HIS IDENTITY
Upon hearing the gunshots, numerous police teams were dispatched to the area. Teams from the Adana Police Department's Public Order Branch Robbery Bureau, who examined the scene and scrutinized security camera footage, managed to identify the mysterious attacker under the chador. Detectives determined that the suspect was 18-year-old B.T. and launched an operation to capture him.
CAUGHT AND ARRESTED IN OPERATION
After a short surveillance, B.T. was caught red-handed and taken into custody at the address where he was hiding in the Anatolia neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. It was learned that in his statement, taken to the police station, the suspect confessed to his crime, saying, "We had a feud, I did it only to scare." After his procedures at the police station, B.T. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the duty court on charges of "Violation of the Firearms Law" and "Knowingly Endangering Public Safety" and sent to prison.
