A criminal complaint has been filed against a Beşiktaş fan who entered the Kocaelispor stands illegally and drew reactions with posts made on their social media account during the match. In a statement from Kocaelispor Club, it was said, "It has been observed that the individual who entered the stadium with a card that does not belong to them made provocative posts, and we have filed a criminal complaint against them."
In the 24th week of the Trendyol Super League, Kocaelispor hosted Beşiktaş. The incidents that occurred during and after the cup match played last month, as well as the damage caused to the away stand at Kocaeli Stadium, had drawn reactions. While the statements made by the fan groups of both clubs increased the tension, there were no negative incidents between the stands during the match played on Saturday. The situation that drew a strong reaction from Kocaelispor fans was a Beşiktaş fan who watched the match from block 112, which belongs to the home team’s supporters, and shared posts about the match.
WATCHED THE MATCH IN THE OPPONENT'S STAND AND MADE PROVOCATIVE SHARES
The social media posts of the Beşiktaş fan identified in the Kocaelispor stands did not go unnoticed by Kocaelispor Club. Entering the stand with a Passolig card that did not belong to him, he drew the reaction of Kocaelispor fans with the posts he made from his social media account.
A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST HIM
Noticing the situation, Kocaelispor Club initiated an investigation regarding the account and its owner. The green-blacks filed a criminal complaint, stating that a Beşiktaş fan named M.T. entered the match with someone else's Passolig card and made provocative posts.
STATEMENT FROM KOCAELİSPOR
In a statement regarding the matter, Kocaelispor Club said, "During the last match we played, it was observed that a person named M.T. made provocative posts while watching the match from the 2012 box in our stadium.
