In an amateur match played in Mardin, a player's cheekbone was broken in a brawl. Following the incident, the arrested player was sent to prison. The Turkish Football Federation has initiated disciplinary proceedings regarding the incident.
In the match between Derikspor and Kızıltepe 47 Spor played in the Mardin Super Amateur League, Sedat K., who broke footballer Yusuf Çiftçi's cheekbone in a fight that broke out after a penalty, was taken into custody.

After procedures at the police station, footballer Sedat K. was referred to the courthouse and, upon being brought before the court, was arrested and sent to prison.
On the other hand, it was learned that referee and observer reports regarding the match have been taken under review by the Turkish Football Federation and the disciplinary process is ongoing.
