Two bodies identified as belonging to a mother and daughter were found on the beach in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. The lifeless bodies of the mother and daughter were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the teams' investigations.
Citizens who came to fish at the Kazlıçeşme beach in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, encountered the lifeless bodies of a girl and her mother in the sea. Teams dispatched to the scene retrieved the bodies of the mother and daughter from the water and took them to the Forensic Medicine Institution.
THE LIFLESS BODY OF A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER FOUND IN THE SEA
The incident occurred around 10:00 PM at the Kazlıçeşme beach in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. According to reports, citizens who came to fish saw a girl motionless in the sea. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Investigations by the teams revealed that the girl had lost her life.
While the coast guard teams were conducting search operations in the sea, a second body was retrieved about an hour later. Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, it was determined that the bodies retrieved from the sea belonged to a woman named F.Ç (30) and her daughter İ.Ş. (8).
"FIRST THE MOTHER, THEN THE DAUGHTER JUMPED"
A citizen named Abdülaziz Alevlidağ, who spoke about the incident, said, "We passed by here an hour ago, and the mother and daughter were there. They were sitting by the water's edge. When we went further, the mother jumped in first. Then the little girl jumped in after her. Two women and two girls had come here to catch fish, and then they saw the bodies. They notified the police upon seeing the bodies. They retrieved the girl. They also pulled the mother out half an hour ago," he stated.
