The body of the shepherd who went missing in Şırnak was found in the river.

Muhsin Gök (26), who went out to graze his small livestock with his shepherd friend in the village of Ulaş in the Dargeçit district of Mardin in the morning hours, went missing in the rural area of Damlabaşı village in the Güçlükonak district of Şırnak. His friend, who could not reach Gök, reported the situation to his family and the gendarmerie. In the search operation initiated in the region, Gök's cane and clothes were found by the banks of the Tigris River.

HIS CORPSE WAS FOUND IN A RIVER ONE KILOMETER AWAY

Upon the possibility that the shepherd drowned in the water, support was requested from AFAD. AFAD and Cizre Municipality Underwater Search and Rescue teams dispatched to the region began search operations in the river. The teams found Gök's lifeless body in the river, approximately one kilometer away from where his belongings were located. Gök's body was taken to the morgue of Dargeçit State Hospital for autopsy.
