A bride and her sister-in-law who were trying to cross the road in Sakarya were hit by a car and lost their lives. The driver of the car has been taken into custody, and investigations regarding the accident are ongoing.
A terrible accident occurred on Servetiye Street in the Yenimahalle neighborhood of Hendek district in Sakarya. A Honda car with license plate 54 EK 410, driven by H.K., hit Necmiye Ayas (55) and Nermin Ayas (59), who were trying to cross the street.
BRIDE AND MOTHER-IN-LAW LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE ACCIDENT
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The health teams determined that two women, who were thrown onto the road due to the impact and were identified as bride and mother-in-law, had died at the scene. The lifeless bodies of the deceased women were taken to the hospital morgue after the investigation at the scene.
DRIVER IN CUSTODY
The driver H.K. was taken into custody by the police. Investigations into the horrific accident, which was also captured by security cameras, are ongoing.
