In the Cide district of Kastamonu, a bullet fired from a person shooting into the air through a window caused an unimaginable tragedy. In the village of Ağaçbükü, a bullet from a pistol fired by K.Ö. ricocheted off a building wall and struck M.D., who was walking on the road at that time, in the head. The unfortunate citizen, covered in blood, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and it was learned that his life-threatening condition continues. The gendarmerie detained both the person who fired the shot and the owner of the weapon.
In the Cide district of Kastamonu, a person who fired a gun from a window caused an unbelievable accident. The bullet, which ricocheted off a wall and hit the head of a passing citizen, left one person seriously injured, while gendarmerie teams detained two suspects in connection with the incident.
BULLET RICOCHETED OFF THE WALL
The incident occurred in the village of Ağaçbükü, Cide district. According to information obtained, 59-year-old K.Ö. began randomly firing a pistol from the window of his house. However, one of the bullets from the suspect's weapon hit the wall of an opposite building and changed direction. The rapidly ricocheting bullet struck the head of 45-year-old M.D., who was walking on the road at that time. As the unfortunate man collapsed in a pool of blood, nearby citizens panic reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
CITIZEN SHOT IN THE HEAD FIGHTS FOR LIFE
Following the report, health and gendarmerie teams were quickly dispatched to the village. After initial medical intervention at the scene, seriously injured M.D. was taken by ambulance to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that the unfortunate citizen, immediately taken into treatment at the hospital, continues to be in critical condition and fighting for life.
GUN OWNER AND THE SHOOTER DETAINED
After the horrific incident in the village, teams from the District Gendarmerie Command launched a comprehensive investigation. K.Ö., who caused terror by firing from the window, and 55-year-old N.T., identified as the actual owner of the pistol used in the incident, were apprehended and taken into custody.
The judicial investigation launched into the incident continues in multiple directions.
