The terrible accident occurred on the Ödemiş-Ovakent highway around 02:30 on the night of August 30. According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 35 CZH 146, driven by Emre Akça (27), which was traveling from the Ovakent direction towards Ödemiş, went out of control as a result of entering the curve at high speed. The car, which veered off as the driver lost control of the steering wheel, overturned into a canal on the right side of the road and rolled over.
TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE
Upon citizens in the area seeing the accident and reporting the situation, health and gendarmerie teams were quickly dispatched to the region. The teams arriving at the scene provided first aid to those in the vehicle. The driver Emre Akça, who was seriously injured in the accident, along with passengers Aşkın Bakır and Recep Bardak, were taken to Ödemiş State Hospital by 112 emergency ambulance teams.
RECEP BARDAK COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Recep Bardak, 27, whose condition was critical among the injured taken under emergency treatment at the hospital, lost his fight for life despite all the efforts of the doctors. It was learned that the other two people injured in the accident, the driver Emre Akça and Aşkın Bakır, are continuing their treatment at the hospital. The investigation launched into the incident continues.
