In a collision between two cars in Uşak, a woman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles lost her life. Her husband, who was injured, also passed away in the hospital despite all medical interventions. Three other people were injured in the accident.
Near the village of İnay on the Uşak-Eşme highway, a car with license plate 64 LT 767, driven by B.Ö. (26), collided with another car with license plate 45 K 5693, driven by İ.K. (66), while heading from Ulubey to Eşme. As a result of the collision, the car with license plate 64 LT 767 spun and crashed into a retaining wall.
THE COUPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon receiving reports from citizens who witnessed the accident, health, fire, AFAD, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined in their initial examinations that Gülümser Arıkan (52), who was a passenger in the car that crashed into the retaining wall, had lost her life. Her husband, Mustafa Arıkan (55), who was also a passenger in the same vehicle, along with M.Ö. (28) and drivers B.Ö. and İ.K. were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances after the first intervention at the scene. Mustafa Arıkan, the husband of Gülümser Arıkan, who lost her life at the scene, could not be saved despite all interventions and passed away. Meanwhile, an investigation has been initiated regarding the accident, and it was learned that the health conditions of the injured were good.
