Following the claims in some media outlets that "Drivers using the middle lane while the right lane is empty will be penalized," the Disinformation Combat Center issued a statement. The statement emphasized that these claims do not reflect the truth.
"DO NOT BELIEVE IN BASELESS CLAIMS"
In the statement, it was expressed that the news regarding the imposition of penalties on private vehicle drivers unnecessarily using the middle lane is unfounded, and it was noted that the Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Security has no such work in this direction. The statement emphasized the need to be cautious against such news that causes misinformation in the public, warning, "Do not believe in baseless claims."
