According to the data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), while annual inflation expectations for April 2025 have increased for market participants and the real sector, household expectations remained unchanged. The proportion of households expecting inflation to decrease has also decreased.

While annual inflation expectations increased for market participants and the real sector in April, there was no change for households.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published the "Sectoral Inflation Expectations" for April 2025. Accordingly, in April, the annual inflation expectations for 12 months later increased by 1.0 points to 25.6% for market participants and rose by 0.6 points to 41.7% for the real sector, while remaining unchanged at 59.3% for households.

The proportion of households expecting inflation to decrease in the next 12 months decreased by 4.1 points compared to last month, reaching 27.2%.
