The Central Bank's total reserves increased by 4 billion 92 million dollars in the week of December 13, reaching a record high of 163 billion 482 million dollars compared to the previous week.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced its weekly money and banking statistics. Accordingly, as of December 13, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 3 billion 164 million dollars to 98 billion 175 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 95 billion 11 million dollars on December 6.
RESERVES INCREASED TO 163 BILLION 482 MILLION DOLLARS
During this period, gold reserves increased by 928 million dollars, rising from 64 billion 379 million dollars to 65 billion 307 million dollars. Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank increased by 4 billion 92 million dollars in the week of December 13, rising from 159 billion 390 million dollars to 163 billion 482 million dollars.
