Sarah Davies forgot that she had applied a lip gloss with a plumping effect and unexpectedly faced a result when she kissed her daughter on the cheek. After the kiss, the little girl's cheek turned red and a burn developed. Davies, who noted that her daughter's cheek healed with the medication they got from the pharmacy, warned, "Don't make the same mistake I did."
41-year-old Sarah Davies applied a lip gloss that has a plumping effect. Davies forgot she was wearing lipstick and kissed her 8-year-old daughter Ava on the cheek before sending her off to a birthday party.
THE LITTLE GIRL'S CHEEK BURNT
According to a report in the Daily Mail, after a while, little Ava's cheek began to turn red. The mother, who said her daughter's cheek felt hot to the touch, remembered she had applied lipstick and immediately washed her daughter's face. Later, the mother went to the pharmacy and applied the cream recommended by the pharmacist to her daughter's cheek. Mother Davies said, "After washing the product off with water, we went straight to the pharmacy. It turned red immediately. It felt like burning. I saw the lip mark and realized what it was."
"DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE"
Davies, who stated that she did not notice the warning label on the product because she had thrown away the packaging, said that the product should not be applied to areas other than the lips and should be kept away from children. After her bad experience, Davies warned parents, "It turned red within a minute. If it had been a newborn baby, it could have been much worse. If I can do it, anyone can; I won't use it again. Don't make my mistake."
