A citizen reacted to the "discount" statement on their bill despite having almost the same electricity consumption in the last two months. The citizen, who asked, "If there is a discount, why is there an increase?" quickly became a topic of discussion.
The increase in electricity bills continues to draw public reaction. Most recently, a citizen highlighted the term "discount" reflected in their bill in a social media post.
CONSUMPTION IS ALMOST THE SAME BUT...
According to the citizen's statement; last month, they paid a bill of 638 TL for 285 kWh of electricity consumption, while this month they paid 738 TL for 299 kWh. Although the increase amount is relatively low, the emphasis on "discount" in the bill confused many.
"WHAT DISCOUNT IS THIS?"
"I want to send you the electricity bills from last month and this month. Last month, electricity usage was 285 kW and the bill was 638 TL. The most recent bill is for 299 kW and 738 TL. It's almost consistent, but the part I marked in red caught my attention with a note of discount. I normally pay this much for my bill, what discount is this?" said the citizen, expressing their reaction and demanding an explanation of this term to the public.
