They were going to promote their clinic through us and advertise in our countries. Since we arrived in Istanbul, we have been filming for the clinic. In exchange for our promotion, they were going to perform liposuction on my wife. They took her for surgery early in the morning. This is the situation we are in now," he said.

"THE ONLY CLINIC LICENSED BY THE EMBASSY"

Elgar Sueia stated, "The situation developed very quickly; a decision was made in 20-25 days. My wife was very well-known in Mozambique, so she was collaborating with various companies for promotion. This clinic came to Mozambique. It is the only clinic that has obtained a license from the embassy to bring patients from there. They needed to find a social media influencer to promote their work in Mozambique. They found my wife, convinced her, and handled all our visa processes within three days to bring us to Turkey," he said.

"WE CAME HERE BECAUSE HEALTH SYSTEMS IN TURKEY ARE GOOD"

Sueia said, "My lawyers are following the case; we are currently just waiting for the autopsy results. I cannot provide details until the autopsy is completed, but I want justice. A person should not lose their life so easily. We came here because health systems in Turkey are good. Will we be afraid the next time we come to Turkey? We want justice not only for ourselves but also for those who come here for the same surgeries. I ask for help from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, and the embassies. They took my wife's life very cheaply. I want justice," he said.
