In a statement made on the social media account of Hava Forum, it was noted that a second heat system coming from the Basra region has been added to the African-origin heat wave affecting Turkey. Especially for Istanbul, warnings are being made that "42 degrees can be measured in the shade in Istanbul. Even on Wednesday evening, the temperature will be 30 degrees. The humidity will also increase, and a very dangerous 48 hours is starting in the city."

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL AFFECT SOME CITIES

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that mostly clear and open weather is expected in the majority of the country, but local showers and thunderstorms may occur in the surroundings of Ardahan, as well as in the inner parts of Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, and the northern districts of Kars.

TEMPERATURES ARE WELL ABOVE SEASONAL NORMS

According to the information on the Meteorology website, temperatures are currently 6 to 12 degrees above seasonal norms. In Adıyaman, Aydın, Batman, Diyarbakır, Manisa, and Şanlıurfa, temperatures have exceeded 40 degrees.

DENSE HUMIDITY WILL BE CARRIED
