RESPONSE TO THE PRISON CLAIM

In a statement from DMM, the claim was denied, stating, "The claim that 'preparations were made before Ekrem İmamoğlu was detained, and a space for 100 people was opened in Kandıra Prison located in Kocaeli' is not true."
The statement also included, "Transfers of convicts and detainees are made periodically and regularly among correctional institutions for the purpose of balancing the number of inmates. The transfers from the Correctional Institution in Kandıra Campus, Kocaeli, are also routine transfers made during these periods. These transfers are similar in number and have not seen a significant increase in the number of inmates transferred recently, as claimed. Please do not give credence to baseless claims aimed at manipulating the public."
