Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared footage recorded during the largest drug operation in the history of the Republic and fired back at those claiming, "Preparations are being made for a trustee for the CHP." Minister Yerlikaya stated, "They shamelessly tried to sow seeds of hatred and resentment among us. The provocateurs who dared to threaten our peace and economy have been tracked. They will be held accountable one by one before the law."
The largest drug operation in the history of the Republic, "Narkokapan-Ankara," resulted in the detention of 525 drug dealers, while many individuals sharing footage recorded during the operation claimed that "preparations are being made for a trustee for the CHP."
HARSH STATEMENTS AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE
While these shares caused public outrage, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya used harsh expressions regarding the issue at the press conference he attended. Minister Yerlikaya stated, "Unfortunately, we have another battlefield: that is against those who spread false news and slander on social media. These individuals recklessly tried to sow seeds of hatred and animosity among us. The vile provocateurs who dared to threaten our peace and economy are under the surveillance of our cyber patrols. Our friends did not sleep until morning. We have identified these individuals. Since last night, 116 thousand 333 shares have been made on X, 34% of which were from bot accounts, and 89% of the shares were negative. We are filing criminal complaints against them; they will account for their actions one by one before the law.
