A circular regarding the "school and lesson hour application" was sent to all provincial governorships with the signature of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin. Following this circular, the Istanbul Governorship announced that the lesson durations in schools implementing dual education in 34 districts have been reduced from 40 minutes to 35 minutes.

The circular sent to educational institutions in 81 provinces yesterday, signed by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, reminded that it was decided to continue the existing daylight saving time application implemented throughout the country in order to benefit more from daylight, and emphasized that class hours should be determined accordingly.

The Istanbul Governorship changed the class hours in schools with dual education in 34 districts based on the MEB circular. In these schools, class hours, which were 40 minutes, have been reduced to 35 minutes.
