Following the statement by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek that the deadline for corporate tax declarations could be extended, the Revenue Administration made an announcement. The deadlines for submitting corporate tax declarations and the payment deadlines for the taxes assessed on these declarations have been extended until the end of Monday, May 5, 2025.
While millions of people are wondering whether the deadline for corporate tax will be extended, the expected announcement came from the Revenue Administration (GİB). In its statement, GİB indicated that the deadline has been extended.
CORPORATE TAX RETURN DEADLINE EXTENDED
The deadline for corporate tax returns has been extended until the end of the day on Monday, May 5, 2025. The statement included the following remarks: "The announcement from the Revenue Administration is as follows: 'With the Tax Procedure Law Circular No. 188 dated April 29, 2025; - The deadlines for submitting the Corporate Tax Returns for the 2024 accounting period, which are due by the end of the day on April 30, 2025, and the payment deadlines for the taxes accrued on these returns have been extended until the end of the day on Monday, May 5, 2025,
- The deadlines for the creation and signing of e-Ledgers, which must be created and signed by May 12, 2025 (due to May 10, 2025, falling on an official holiday) and by the end of the day on May 14, 2025, as well as the deadlines for uploading the electronic ledgers and reports to the Revenue Administration's Information Processing System have been extended until the end of the day on Friday, May 16, 2025.'
