The statement included the following information: "In the meeting, serial production projects for low, medium, and high-altitude air defense systems, serial production projects for long-range missile systems that enhance our country's striking power, missile development projects that will create a force multiplier effect, the TF-2000 Air Defense Warfare Destroyer project, which will enable us to join the ranks of the few countries capable of designing and producing their own submarines, projects to enhance our country's independent access capability to space, the T625 GÖKBEY helicopter serial production project to meet the additional light class general-purpose helicopter needs, procurement and development projects aimed at enhancing electronic warfare capabilities, projects to protect our critical facilities and regions against UAV threats, procurement projects for additional armed unmanned aerial vehicles and related subsystems, procurement projects for armored personnel carriers and rescue vehicles, various land vehicle procurement projects, kamikaze ground vehicle projects, and procurement projects for various simulators and electro-optical systems were discussed and decided upon."
SATISFACTION WITH ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY WAS EXPRESSED
During the meeting, satisfaction with the achievements obtained in the Turkish defense industry, supported by the strong backing of the nation and the state, was expressed, emphasizing that efforts should be made to carry out the work with even greater diligence in 2025.
