U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a speech in Saudi Arabia that he has lifted all sanctions against Syria. Reminding of his meeting with President Erdoğan, Trump said, "We have taken the first step towards normalizing relations with Syria. I made this decision after discussing it with President Erdoğan."
