It was learned that 82 deputies, who followed Özel's speech in the packed hall, will also transition to the new party with him.
Özgür Özel's farewell speech, addressing the CHP group for the last time before establishing his new political formation, drew intense interest from members of parliament. With no empty seats in the hall, it was stated that the attendees would join the ranks of the 'New Party' to be founded under Özel's leadership.
