In Izmir, an assistant enforcement director and an enforcement clerk were detained during an operation while receiving a bribe of 200,000 lira from a lawyer. The assistant director was apprehended at the scene, while the clerk was taken into custody at his home.
The Deputy Chief of the Execution Office Y.D. (27) and the execution clerk B.B. (26) allegedly requested a bribe of 200,000 TL from lawyer D.Ç. (30) to expedite the official collection in the İzmir Courthouse Execution Office file. Lawyer D.Ç. reported the situation to the prosecutor's office. Following this, the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action.
Deputy Chief of the Execution Office Y.D. CAUGHT RED-HANDED Lawyer D.Ç. agreed with the police and informed the other party that he would give the requested bribe. D.Ç. then met with Deputy Chief of the Execution Office Y.D. at a café they had agreed upon yesterday. Lawyer D.Ç. handed over the money with serial numbers to Y.D. At that moment, police teams who had taken action caught Y.D. red-handed.
Execution clerk B.B. Clerk B.B. was detained at his home. It was reported that the police procedures for Y.D. and B.B. who were taken into custody are ongoing.
