AN INVESTIGATION WAS LAUNCHED AFTER THE PUBLISHED VIDEO
Following reports regarding a video content shared on social media, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation against Engin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, Hazal Erdoğan, and Dilan Polat, who filmed the video. A detention order was issued by the prosecutor's office for the individuals on charges of 'buying, accepting, or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use.'
THEY PREVENTED THE RECORDING OF IMAGES
As part of the investigation, Dilan and Engin Polat were detained during the night. The Polat couple, who underwent a health check at the hospital under police security measures, were taken to the Istanbul Police Department. During the health check, it was observed that their relatives stepped in front of the Polat couple to prevent press members from taking pictures.

Before being detained, Dilan Polat shared a video on social media, saying, "I can no longer live. I have no strength left to live; I am finished. Look, I am filming a video, and they are sharing this everywhere. They say they have consumed this, they have consumed that. And I am just now learning. News has come out about us, saying they were detained. And they will probably come. Take me away," she said.
