Jiyan Görcin, who works at a gas station in Esenler, took his customer Tamer Karaca's parked car without permission and drove around with his girlfriend. The situation came to light when Karaca's wife, Elif Ayten Karaca, blocked the front of the car. Jiyan Görcin responded to this by saying, "I didn't drive around." In response to the young employee's reaction, Karaca said, "Did the car come here as a missile?"

In Esenler, Istanbul, bus driver Tamer Karaca parked his car with the license plate 34 HPK 780 in the parking lot of a gas station he had an agreement with around 5:30 AM. He also left the keys at the station's market. Karaca then took the bus he was driving and went to work. In the afternoon, station employee Jiyan Görcün came to the market and received the keys to the vehicle from the staff. He then got into the car and left the parking lot. The person who was allegedly out with his girlfriend arrived at another gas station around 3:30 PM, parked the vehicle incorrectly, and got out of the car.

"DID IT COME HERE AS A MISSILE?"

After the station employee called Tamer Karaca to ask him to remove the incorrectly parked vehicle, his wife Elif Ayten Karaca arrived at the address. While driving, Karaca blocked the path of his own vehicle that had come out of the station. Here, he caught Jiyan Görcün, who had taken the car without permission. During the argument, Görcün said, "I didn't wander around," to which Karaca replied, "Did it come here as a missile?"

FILED A COMPLAINT

After the incident, Karaca, who took the vehicle, went to the police and filed a complaint against Görcün and the station officials who handed over the keys. The events were captured on a mobile phone camera. It was learned that judicial action was taken against Görcün and the station employee for 'abuse of trust' after their statements were taken at the police station.

"I BLOCKED MY OWN CAR"

Speaking about the incident, Elif Ayten Karaca said, "My husband uses the gas station's parking lot due to the agreement with the company he works for. In the morning, he leaves his private car for washing and, according to the agreement, leaves the keys at the market's cash register. My husband leaves the car in the same way in the morning. Around 4:00 PM, my husband receives a call. They tell him that he parked his car in the wrong place and to remove it. My husband says that the car is at another station and that there is a misunderstanding. The person on the phone says, 'No, a young boy and a girl said they would come in 5 minutes. They parked the car here.' My husband tries to reach the station but cannot. Then my husband called me and said, 'Either the car was stolen or there is a mistake, can you go urgently?' I called 112 on the way and reported it as stolen. At that moment, I saw the car in motion and blocked its path. The young boy in the car was an employee of the station where we handed over the keys. The boy told me, 'I know the brother. I can use the car whenever I want,' which was nonsense. His family was also with him; I think they got out of the car and said they would pay for the diesel. As far as I understand, the boy does this all the time. I also blame the station managers," she said.

"I TOOK THE CAR FOR RAMADAN SHOPPING"

Speaking about the incident, Jiyan Görcin said, "I took the car incorrectly and wrongly. I knew Tamer Karaca as the owner of the vehicle. I took it based on the sincerity he showed. I realized that there was no sincerity involved. After that, I took the car and made very wrong moves. My mother and father were shopping for Ramadan, so I had to take the car. I wish I hadn't taken it. It is said that I was hanging out with a girl in the car; there is absolutely no such thing. People around me know me; there can never be any malicious intent. Since my parents are old, I had to resort to that way. I wish I hadn't taken it; I apologize a thousand times. I don't want people to misunderstand me," he said.
