By presidential decree, 17 deputy governors and 135 district governors were appointed, and the duty stations of 8 deputy governors and 16 district governors were changed. Mert Can Canga, who was serving as acting district governor in Karabük Yenice, was officially appointed as district governor. Canga had previously come to the fore with images of him holding shoes for a protection police officer.
A presidential decree regarding the appointment of 17 deputy governors and district governors for 135 districts, as well as the reassignment of 8 deputy governors and 16 district governors, was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the appointment decisions; Mert Can Canga, who was serving as the acting district governor in Yenice, Karabük, has officially become the district governor of Yenice. Canga had made headlines for having the protection officer hold his shoes and tie.
HE HAD ACCUSED THE POLICE OFFICER
After the images that drew great backlash, Mert Can Canga made a statement, saying that he never gave any instructions to the protection officer to prepare his shoes and that he could not do so, stating that the protection officer took on an unnecessary duty, putting him in a difficult position, and that he was at fault for not intervening in this bad image in a timely manner.
