The pairings in the 3rd qualifying round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup were determined by the draw. Here are the pairings...
The draw for the Ziraat Turkish Cup 3rd qualifying round was held at the Turkish Football Federation Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities Orhan Saka Conference Hall. It was attended by Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, TFF 1st Vice President, Executive Board Member, Board Member Responsible for the National Team and Super League Mecnun Otyakmaz, TFF board members, club presidents and representatives. The 3rd qualifying round matches in the Turkish Cup will be played on October 27, 28, and 29.
HACIOSMANOĞLU: ''WE WISH SUCCESS IN THE SLOVENIA MATCH'' Speaking at the draw, TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu said, "First of all, today our National Women's Team will face Slovenia in a play-off match on the road to qualifying for the 2027 World Cup. We await all our fans at the match to be played at Pendik Stadium. I sincerely wish our national team players success in advance. Our Women's Visually Impaired National Team also became champions in the European Championship, which it participated in for the first time. I offer them my endless thanks for the pride they have made us experience. I also wholeheartedly congratulate our Turkish Visually Impaired Sports Federation."
''TO ALL OUR CLUBS PARTICIPATING IN THE CUP...'' Wishing success to all teams participating in the Ziraat Turkish Cup, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "I wish success to all our clubs competing in the cup, and I congratulate our teams that have advanced to the 3rd round. As you know, the Ziraat Turkish Cup, which carries the excitement of football to every corner of our country and embraces Türkiye, is being played in a single-match knockout format except for the semi-finals starting this season. With this arrangement, our teams will play fewer matches compared to last season. With the current change, competition in the cup will be preserved, and the intense match traffic of our clubs will be eased. In line with the interests of our clubs, we had the first two rounds of the Ziraat Turkish Cup played regionally. In this round, a total of 72 teams, including 31 teams advancing from the previous rounds as well as 6 of our Super League teams, will compete. At the end of the season, a total of 146 teams will have taken part in the cup. I thank all our clubs participating in the cup for their contribution to football and to the brand value of the cup."
''I BELIEVE THEY WILL WRITE NEW STORIES'' Drawing attention to the importance of the Turkish Cup in Turkish football, President Hacıosmanoğlu spoke as follows: "In the Turkish Cup, which also opens the path for our clubs to participate in the UEFA Europa League, each of our teams has the opportunity to write its own story. Clubs from every region gain national visibility, and our footballers playing at different levels, especially in our lower leagues, can show themselves. I believe that this season too, our teams and players will write new stories on the cup stage. As I conclude my words, I wish the draw to be auspicious for all our clubs. I also wish all our footballers an injury-free and successful season."
