SHE WAS SHOT AT THE BUSINESS WHERE SHE TOOK REFUGE
In the incident that occurred in the morning hours on Atatürk Boulevard in Kadıköy Neighborhood, Füsun Yuluğkural, who had left her home, encountered her divorced husband E.B. Seeing E.B., Yuluğkural moved away and took refuge in a nearby business.
It was learned that E.B., who followed her, fired a handgun 4 times at Yuluğkural inside the business. As Yuluğkural collapsed to the ground, the suspect ran away from the scene and fled by getting into a taxi.

ATTACK ON THE DAY OF THE HEARING
It was learned that Yuluğkural and E.B. had divorced some time ago, but the lawsuits regarding the property sharing between them were still ongoing. While it was stated that the parties also had a hearing today, it is assessed that the suspect was waiting in front of the apartment building where Yuluğkural lived.
“SHE CAME TO TAKE REFUGE, HE FIRED 2 SHOTS”
Eyewitness and shopkeeper Muharrem Zeyrek described what happened as follows:
“Our sister, a neighbor who lives here, a sister we loved. She said ‘Good morning’ and passed by. Not even a minute passed. Ahead was her divorced ex-husband. There was a feud between them. Because our sister Füsun knew us, she came here to take refuge, but the man pulled out his gun and fired 2 shots. After firing 2 shots, my wife was also with me, and I had to step in front of the man. Just in case, I said, ‘Brother, don’t do it.’ We also have some acquaintance and greeting with the man. After that, saying ‘Okay, I won’t do it,’ he fired 2 more shots right beside me. After that, he left looking back, even holding the gun to his head. I don’t know where he went. The woman only came here to take refuge.”
“I STEPPED IN FRONT OF HIM BUT COULDN’T STOP HIM”
Zeyrek, who stated that the lawsuits between the couple were ongoing, continued as follows:
“They were divorced, and lawsuits between them were still ongoing. If I remember correctly, they had a hearing today too. There were property and asset lawsuits. Of course, I don’t know the feud between them. I stepped in front of the man but couldn’t stop him. I clearly saw where 2 of the bullets hit. I couldn’t see the other two because I was begging the man. Because there was 1-1.5 meters between us. I was begging, ‘Brother, don’t do it.’ He fired those 2 shots right beside me as well. I saw that all 4 bullets hit our sister.”
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
