A driver, who claimed to live in California and was found to have a blood alcohol level of over 100 promille on the breathalyzer after an accident, commented, "How much money does this country need?" following the fines imposed. The traffic police, angered by the drunk driver's statement, warned him to be careful with his words.

The police teams responding to a traffic accident report in Antalya witnessed interesting moments. In the incident that occurred on 9528 Street in the Eski Hisar neighborhood of Manavgat district, a traffic accident happened when a vehicle with the license plate 07 LRM 23, driven by a person named Can Gözübüyük, collided from behind with a car with the license plate 07 AYD 165, driven by Zeynep Deretarla, who was going in the same direction. Fortunately, there were no injuries in the accident.

FOUND TO BE OVER 100 PROMIL ALCOHOL

In the inspection conducted by the Manavgat Police Department's Traffic Control Bureau team that arrived at the scene after the accident, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle with the license plate 07 LRM 23, Can Gözübüyük, was over 100 promil alcohol.

It took a different turn when the driver was informed that he would be fined 6,439 TL for driving under the influence, 1,506 TL for not having his driver's license with him, and that his driver's license would be confiscated for six months, and his vehicle would be towed to the impound lot, leading him to ask, "How much money does this country need?" The traffic police, annoyed by the driver's remarks, warned him to be careful with his words.

It was observed that the drunk driver turned to the drone reporter and asked, "Why are you taking pictures, have we become news?"
