The accident occurred at Kaplıkaya Cazibe Center in the central Yıldırım district. Allegedly, the driver, who came to Cazibe Center to visit, opened his navigation to return. However, the driver's distraction cost him dearly.

The driver chose the pedestrian route instead of the car route on the navigation, and the car fell down the stairs, which he thought was an uphill road. The people around who saw the car hanging on the stairs immediately rushed to help. The citizens, who managed to remove the car with the pavement stones, struggled for minutes for the driver who fell into the navigation error.

Burak Uğur, one of the citizens who rushed to help, said, "The driver opened the navigation and got distracted. He confused the car route with the pedestrian route. He thought the stairs in front of him were uphill and fell down. We immediately rushed to help. The car was rescued, but when I heard the noise, I went there. It is a common mistake made by drivers. When we asked the people around, they said that he chose the pedestrian route on the navigation. Unfortunately, this is a situation that escapes the attention of drivers. We need to be more careful about this."
