The investigation into the helicopter crash that killed Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and five others has revealed the positions of the suspects at the time of the incident and their current status in the probe. Here is the full list, name by name...

In the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of the late Great Unity Party Chairman Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and five others, 19 suspects were arrested, and judicial control measures were applied to 8 others. It was learned that two suspects mentioned in the file are in prison for the crime of 'attempted coup' on behalf of the FETÖ terrorist organization.

INVESTIGATION

Within the scope of the investigation reopened by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out in Istanbul, Izmir, Balıkesir, Adana, Antalya, Çanakkale, Bursa, Isparta, and Afyonkarahisar, centered in Ankara. The prosecutor's office initiated proceedings against 29 suspects for whom concrete evidence was found regarding the crimes of 'Establishing, Managing, and Being a Member of an Armed Terrorist Organization' and 'Premeditated Murder.'

As part of the operation, Ahmet Turhan, Bekir Cerikci, Cemal Şahin, Ebubekir S. Yüksekkaya, Sedat Kılıçaslan, Dursun Özmen, Nedim Bakırhan, Ersöz Sağlam, Nusret Memiş, Ferudun Seren, Gülseren Özişik, Halil İbrahim Açan, Hikmet Tanıl, Recep Ercan, İsmail Kaya, Kerem Mumcuoğlu, Mehmet Çağlar, Mehmet Sevdim, Melike Sinem Uçum, Suat Kaplan, Fatih Bengi, Tezcan Kaymaz, Ali Armağan, Kenan Köksal, and Şerife Armağan were taken into custody.

Among the suspects was former police chief Dursun Özmen, who had previously been tried in the case on charges of 'forgery of documents' and 'misuse of office.'

TWO IN PRISON, TWO ABROAD

It was determined that Davut Uçum and Aydın Özsıcak, who were seen removing GPS devices from the helicopter wreckage and are convicted in the FETÖ military structure case, are in prison, while suspects Nihat Biçer and İrfan Yavuz are abroad.
