FIFA announced that for the first time in tournament history, a championship ring will be presented to the winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final match between Argentina and Spain, to be played on Sunday. The ring is reported to be worth $130,000 (7 million Turkish Lira).
The champion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be determined by the Argentina - Spain match to be played on Sunday, July 19 at New Jersey Stadium.
CHAMPIONSHIP RING FOR THE WINNING TEAM
FIFA announced that the winning team will receive a championship ring, also used as a prize in tournaments like the NBA and NFL. Only 2026 rings will be produced, with 30 given to the winning team. The remaining 1,996 will be offered to fans worldwide as officially licensed products. FIFA stated that one side of the ring will feature a FIFA World Cup engraving, while the other side will be personalized for the winning team. It was also announced that each ring will be individually numbered and prepared specifically for the recipient, delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
