An investigation has been initiated regarding the dumping of garbage onto the road due to the filling of the wild storage area where Bartın's solid waste is collected. Due to the filling of the wild storage area where garbage collected from 8 municipalities and the Provincial Special Administration from the villages is dumped, located on the hill of İnkumu holiday resort in Karasu village, garbage piles have formed on the approximately 1-kilometer road providing access to the region. LIQUIDS FROM GARBAGE ARE MIXING INTO THE RIVERIt was observed that the road leading to Boğaz Neighborhood was closed and that the liquids flowing from the garbage piles reaching the Bartın River area were mixing with the rainwater into the river. THEY ARE TRYING TO OPEN THE ROADThe Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has initiated an investigation following complaints from citizens regarding the area where approximately 150 tons of garbage are transported daily. The pollution in the area where efforts are being made to open the road by moving the garbage to the side areas with the help of construction machinery was also captured from the air.
