National football player Samet Akaydin could not reach an agreement with Çaykur Rizespor ahead of the new season, and it was reported that the national star has suitors from many countries.

NO AGREEMENT REACHED WITH RIZESPOR
Yurtgüven stated that no agreement was reached in the negotiations with the Black Sea team on behalf of the experienced defender, and said that many clubs outside of Europe are also interested.

Yurtgüven said, "Regarding Samet Akaydin's contract, which will expire at the end of the season, our priority was our current club Çaykur Rizespor. As a result of negotiations lasting about 1.5 months, no agreement could be reached between the parties on a new contract, and the negotiations have ended. Offers from domestic and international sources will start to be evaluated for our national footballer, who will become a free agent at the end of the season. There is interest from European leagues, the Arabian Peninsula, and MLS clubs in Samet Akaydin. Our goal is to sign a contract with his new club by June.
