IT IMMEDIATELY FLED UPON SEEING THE SNAKE
The incident occurred in the rural area of Sivas. A mouse searching for food in its natural habitat entered a hole where a white-banded mountain viper (Montivipera albizona), considered one of the most dangerous and venomous species in the region, was located.
Realizing the danger in the hole at the last moment, the mouse quickly fled backward and escaped. The viper emerged from its hole and tried to find the mouse. The scene between predator and prey was recorded on camera by nature conservation teams.
