As the vote counting continues in the presidential elections in the United States, the price of Bitcoin has surpassed $75,000, setting a new record, amid expectations that the Republican candidate Donald Trump could win.

According to unofficial data, in the U.S. presidential election, Republican Party candidate Donald Trump secured 230 delegates in 24 of the 50 states, while his opponent, Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris, obtained 209 delegates.

As the vote counting continues, the rise in Bitcoin's price has drawn attention with expectations that Trump may gain an advantage in the election.

TRADED AT 73 THOUSAND 886 DOLLARS

According to Coinmarketcap data, the price of the cryptocurrency reached a record high of 75 thousand 11 dollars, while it was traded at 73 thousand 886 dollars as of 06:30 Turkish time.

On the other hand, the 10-year Treasury bond yield in the U.S. also rose by 15 basis points to 4.44 percent. The dollar index increased by 1.5 percent to 10.95.
