Due to the earthquake risk, activities at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing have been suspended for 20 days. It has been announced that the faculty will be relocated to the Avcılar Campus.
After the earthquakes that occurred in Istanbul on April 23, a precautionary decision was made for the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Nightingale Nursing Faculty. Accordingly, the faculty's activities have been suspended for a period of 20 days.
It has been learned that the faculty will be relocated from Şişli to the Avcılar Campus due to the earthquake risk.
In statements regarding the school, which provides education to a total of 1537 students, Cerrahpaşa Rector Prof. Dr. Nuri Aydın stated that the decision was made due to the earthquake risk.
WHEN WILL EDUCATION AND TRAINING START?
Aydın said, "About 2 months ago, a decision was made to relocate the faculty in a planned manner. However, after the earthquakes that occurred on April 23, we have decided to bring this decision forward."
Aydın stated that education and training at the faculty will continue on May 20, 2025.
