Famous YouTuber Ruhi Çenet entered a pool covered with aerogel, which he described as "the best insulation material in the world," in an experiment he conducted outdoors. As the metallic-looking coating repelled water, causing droplets to flow away without sticking, moments of Çenet emerging completely dry from the water were captured on camera, and the footage quickly became a trending topic on social media.
Famous YouTube broadcaster Ruhi Çenet shared videos of himself entering a pool without getting wet thanks to the "aerogel" material that covers his body.
"I WILL ENTER THIS POOL AND NOT GET WET AT ALL"
In a video of about 30 seconds, Çenet is seen at the edge of an inflatable pool in an open area, standing in front of the camera with a gray and metallic-looking coating. Due to the material on him, his skin reflects a shiny and silver-toned surface. Turning to the camera, Çenet says, "I will enter this pool and not get wet at all," and then he enters the water to prove his claim.
METALLIC APPEARANCE CAUGHT ATTENTION
In the footage, it is noticeable that the water slides off his body without making contact and that droplets flow away without sticking. At moments when he moves in the pool, the coating appears to have a more pronounced metallic look. During this time, Çenet states, "My body takes on a metallic appearance in the pool. Because there is an air gap between my skin and the water."

When he came out of the water, it was reflected on the camera that there was no visible wetness on Çenet.
