Founded in 1903 and holding the title of the oldest sports club in Turkey, Beşiktaş has made several changes to its logo. This move by the black-and-white team, which has gone through turbulent times, angered its supporters. HERE ARE THE CHANGES MADEThe former communication director of the black-and-white club, Okay Karacan, recently announced that the club's logo has been changed. Karacan expressed this change with the words, "We changed the logo, but we couldn't explain it..." Okay Karacan's mentioned changes are as follows; - The logo has been horizontally expanded.
- The flag section and stripes have been enlarged.
- The tips located diagonally above the flag section have been combined with white tips.
- The BJK letters have been reduced; the 1903 part has been thinned.
NOT YET REGISTEREDThe new version of Beşiktaş's logo is only used in the BJK Super APP application and its social media accounts, as it has not been officially registered yet. SUPPORTERS BLAMED THE MANAGEMENTOn the other hand, the fact that the changes made were not considered "significant" by the supporters has also become a separate topic of discussion on social media. Black-and-white football fans complained that there were no noticeable changes in the logo and that the announcement was poorly made, criticizing the management.
