The death of terrorist organization leader Gülen was confirmed not only by members of the organization but also by Gülen's nephew, Ebuseleme Gülen, through his social media account. It was announced that terrorist organization leader Gülen died on October 20.

Anadolu Agency reported the development as "It is claimed that Fetullah Gülen has died." The agency also included information in its report that many individuals close to the terrorist organization leader Gülen's relatives and organization management, who are active on social media, have confirmed the death.
