Hamas did not remain indifferent to the developments as the U.S. military bombarded Yemen under President Trump's order. In a statement, it said, "We strongly condemn the airstrike and consider it a clear violation of international law by attacking the sovereignty and stability of our brother Yemen."
Hamas strongly condemned the airstrikes carried out by the USA and the UK on the Yemeni capital, Sana, considering it a violation of international laws.
"WE CONDEMN THE ATTACK IN THE STRONGEST TERMS"
Hamas made a written statement on its Telegram account regarding the attack on Sana by the USA and the UK. The statement said, "We strongly condemn the airstrike targeting a residential area in the Yemeni capital, Sana, by the USA and the UK, and we consider this a clear violation of international law by attacking the sovereignty and stability of our brother Yemen."
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen reported that in the airstrikes carried out by the USA and the UK since yesterday on the capital Sana and the northern city of Sada, 24 people, including 4 children and 1 woman, lost their lives, and 23 others were injured.
On March 7, the Houthis announced that they had given Israel a 4-day deadline to allow aid to enter Gaza, otherwise they would resume naval operations against Israel.
US President Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social platform account that he had instructed the military to launch a "major attack" against the Houthis in Yemen.
