As air temperatures dropped across Turkey, snowfall was effective in the higher parts of Ankara. The plateaus in the Kızılcahamam and Çamlıdere districts and Soğuksu National Park were covered with a white blanket in the morning hours.
With the drop in air temperatures in Ankara, snowfall was seen in high-altitude areas. The plateaus in the Kızılcahamam and Çamlıdere districts located in the north of the city woke up to snow.
SOĞUKSU NATIONAL PARK COVERED IN WHITE
The snowfall also had an effect in Soğuksu National Park, known for Ankara's natural beauties. Following the temperatures dropping during the night hours, the high-altitude areas in the region were covered in white. The winter landscapes that formed in the plateaus and the national park drew attention.
