The first message from Murat Ongun, the Chairman of the Board of Media AŞ, who was arrested as part of the investigation into the İBB, has arrived. In a post made from Ongun's X account, visible among the police after the arrest decision, he stated, "I was arrested based on unfounded accusations with no evidence! A prosecutor requested my arrest based on the statements of a secret witness who began with 'according to what I learned,' and the judge approved it."
The Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Media Inc., Murat Ongun, and the General Manager of İmamoğlu Construction Company, Tuncay Yılmaz, were arrested by the on-duty magistrate court as part of the "corruption" investigation against IMM.

Investigations are also ongoing against 7 suspects, including İmamoğlu, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, for the crime of "aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization."
MURAT ONGUN ARRESTED
After their procedures at the police station, some suspects who were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan completed their processes at the on-duty magistrate court. The court ruled for the arrest of suspect Murat Ongun.
FIRST TIME SEEN AFTER THE DECISION
As Ongun appeared among the police after the arrest decision, the deputies shouted the slogan "there is no escape." Meanwhile, a post was made from Ongun's X account after the arrest decision.
"UNTIL WE CHANGE THE JUDICIARY AND POLITICAL NETWORK, PEACE WILL NOT COME TO OUR COUNTRY"
In the statement, it was said, "I was arrested based on unfounded accusations! A prosecutor requested my arrest based on the statements of a secret witness who started with 'according to what I learned.' The judge approved it. I also learned through this investigation that generating more revenue for the public is considered corruption! Clearly, until we change this judiciary and political network, peace will not come to our country. We will achieve this with our nation. Even if we are in prison, we will make this happen."
