The first transfer of the year in the Super League: Eyüpspor has signed Yalçın Kayan.

Eyüpspor, coached by Arda Turan, made the first transfer of the year in the Trendyol Super League by signing Yalçın Kayan, who last played for Göztepe.

SIGNED FOR 3.5 YEARS

In a statement from Eyüpspor, it was said, "Welcome to Eyüpspor, Yalçın Kayan! Our Eyüpspor has signed a 3.5-year contract with Yalçın Kayan. We welcome Yalçın Kayan and wish him many victories in the purple and yellow jersey."

After the signing, Eyüpspor's vice president Fatih Kulaksız stated, "Yalçın Kayan is a player we know very well from Göztepe. When there was a separation situation at Göztepe, we stepped in about a month ago. We believe we have completed an important transfer for our club. As per our club policy, we prioritize local players. He is a player aiming for the national team. This was a transfer with high energy. I believe he will contribute a lot to us. WILL PLAY FOR A TEAM OTHER THAN GÖZTEPE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Yalçın Kayan, who grew up in the Göztepe youth academy, will wear a jersey for a team other than the yellow-red team for the first time. The 25-year-old midfielder, who rose to the A team in 2018 and played 144 matches with the Aegean team, scored 13 goals and made 4 assists in these matches.
