The motor yacht belonging to former Trabzonspor President Sadri Şener, which was under maintenance in Bodrum district of Muğla, was rendered unusable due to a fire that broke out for unknown reasons. An investigation has been initiated regarding the cause of the fire.
At a shipyard in the İçmeler area of Bodrum, Muğla, a fire broke out at around 09:00 for an undetermined reason on a motor yacht approximately 20 meters long that was under maintenance.
THE MOTOR YACHT BURST INTO FLAMES
Those who saw the flames reported the situation to the fire department, health, and police teams. In addition to the fire department, coast guard teams were also dispatched to the area. After intense efforts by the shipyard workers and fire crews, the flames were extinguished before they spread to other boats.
OWNED BY THE FORMER TRABZONSPOR PRESIDENT
The motor yacht, which is said to belong to former Trabzonspor President Sadri Şener, sustained significant damage. Meanwhile, Bodrum Regional Port Authority President Tuncay Aydın and Bodrum Chamber of Shipping President Orhan Dinç came to the area to monitor the efforts on-site.
While the cause of the fire is being investigated, an inquiry has been initiated.
