WHO IS SEDA SARIBAŞ?



Seda Sarıbaş, who is from Trabzon on her mother's side and from Adana on her father's side, was born and raised in Istanbul. She was selected as Miss Turkey in the 2006 Miss Turkey Beauty Pageant. Transitioning from modeling to entrepreneurship, Sarıbaş completed her bachelor's degree in Labor Economics at Anadolu University and then pursued a master's degree in sociology.



Sarıbaş served as a member of the AK Party Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Council (2014-2018) and as the Provincial Chair of the AK Party Aydın Women's Branch in the previous term (2016-2018). She married businessman Sedat Sarıbaş from Didim, settled in Didim, and operated a gas station with her husband for a while.



Most recently, Seda Sarıbaş became an AK Party Aydın deputy in the 2023 parliamentary elections.
