The founding board of the 'New Path' group, which unites the DEVA, Future, and Happiness Parties, has been announced.

The Saadet Party, DEVA Party, and Future Party, aiming to establish a strong group in the Parliament, have made their "umbrella party" formula official with the submission of the founding petition of the political party named New Path to the Ministry of Interior.

GENERAL CHAIRMAN MÜMTAZ AKINCI HAS BEEN APPOINTED

A delegation consisting of representatives from the three parties delivered the party's founding petition to the Ministry of Interior at 4:00 PM. Celal Mümtaz Akıncı, who previously served as the bar association president and a member of the Constitutional Court, has been appointed as the General Chairman of New Path. Akıncı was appointed as the Deputy Chairman responsible for Legal Affairs at the DEVA Party's Ordinary Grand Congress held on October 12, 2024.

The New Path group will establish a joint group in the Parliament, but DEVA, Future, and Saadet Parties will continue to operate under their own names. The current chairpersons will also remain in their positions. The party aims to apply to the Parliament Presidency for group establishment at the beginning of next week.

FOUNDERS' COMMITTEE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

The founders' committee of the group has also been determined. The list published on the social media account of the New Path Group includes 39 names.
