The funeral of the famous artist Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away in a hospital in Antalya where he was receiving treatment, has been brought to Istanbul Airport by plane. The artist, who lost his life at the age of 79, will be laid to rest after a funeral ceremony to be held in Istanbul on Saturday.

The famous figure of Arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away at the age of 79 in the hospital where he had been receiving treatment for a while. The news of his death saddened his fans, and the artist's funeral was transported by plane from Antalya to Istanbul.

HANDED OVER TO HIS RELATIVES

The funeral of Ferdi Tayfur, taken from the plane by the officials, was taken to the cargo terminal. After the procedures at the airport, Tayfur's funeral was received by his relatives.

HAD BEEN RECEIVING TREATMENT FOR A LONG TIME

After his treatment in Muğla, Ferdi Tayfur was transferred to Antalya by military plane at the request of his doctors and family, and he had undergone surgery at Medical Park Antalya Hospital some time ago. Tayfur had passed away yesterday at the same hospital.
